The Invisible Blueprint: Where Precision Prevents Catastrophe

Our Process

Initial Call

First, we'll have a brief phone call to determine if we are the right match. Not a match for some reason? We'll suggest someone who may be a good fit and provide you with a few questions you can ask that will help you vet your prospective guide to make sure you're in alignment.

Discovery

Are you opposed to seeing situations and conditions as they truly are? What goals and obstacles are you encountering? We will genuinely listen to you and pose insightful questions to gain a clear understanding of what matters to you and your clients.

Proposal

Our team will create a simple, easy-to-understand one-page proposal that highlights the key needs and desires we've identified together. After we all agree, we'll finalize the agreement and eagerly step into the next phase of our journey.

Reduce Your Odds of Seeing the Inside of a Courtroom While Keeping Your Design Intact

By the end of the Construction Documentation phase, you'll be able to convey a clear and practical design vision to your project Owner, including what to expect in terms of longevity and maintenance. This builds trust. I can see you being asked by your clients for continuing work because they feel you were thinking five steps ahead for them. I've been writing specifications for almost 17 years, and so far I haven't seen the inside of a courtroom. Don't let frustration and costly mistakes haunt your projects. Let's provide the foresight and quality that safeguard your designs and delight your clients together.

Notable Projects

Specifications for Product Manufacturers

Manufacturers often lack detailed product specifications, forcing design professionals and contractors to choose alternatives, misuse products, or avoid innovation due to information gaps, hindering efficient design and informed decisions. We'll help you shatter the information barrier so that design professionals and contractors can make well informed decisions about your product, giving you better odds of being included on large projects.

WORK WITH HORTUS

We work with purpose driven organizations that hold integrity, loyalty and health as cardinal principles, and are committed to making the world a better place for their consumers, stakeholders, communities, and environments.
